About our home in Texas
We live outside of Dallas in a 3 bedroom house with a fenced-in backyard and an open living space where it’s easy for everyone to be together. We have a room we’re excited to set up as the nursery after we adopt.
Our neighborhood is next to a big lake, with walking trails, swimming pools, schools, and friendly people. The ice cream truck comes down our streets with music playing (it’s like the sound of summer!) and sometimes they have food trucks at the clubhouse down the street. Here we are close to anything we could ever need or want to do, and only a short drive to get out into the country or into the city. It’s a great place to raise a family!
About Libby
Andrew says: Libby is one of the most caring and compassionate people I know. She is creative and talented, and has the biggest heart that shines throughout her. Libby thinks of others before herself and I know she will make a great mom.

At work: I have worked in adoption for many years, helping adoptive parents and mothers in the different parts of their adoptions. I’ve seen first-hand how modern adoption can be a positive experience for all involved! After we adopt, I’ll be a stay-at-home mom and able to work from home as the baby gets older.

About Andrew

About our dog, Sophie
Sophie is our Golden Retriever mix and she’s silly, smart, and very sweet. She’s a gentle and fun dog who is great with our nieces and nephews. Sophie loves catching her frisbee and learning tricks!
About our families
We have loving, supportive families on both sides! Andrew’s immediate family all live nearby. Libby has family in east Texas and Kansas, though most of her relatives live in northern California. Andrew has 2 older brothers, Libby has 2 younger sisters, and we have the sweetest nieces and nephews!
Adoption is already a part of our extended families, and we have friends who have been touched by adoption too. Everyone in our circle is excited about our plans to adopt and will be a sweet support for our future child.
Traditions we’d love to share with a child:

• Summer Saturdays at the swimming pool
• Watching the Thanksgiving Parade for Santa to arrive
